I think you don't even need to match them completepy, just cope until they loose strenght, but you need to be smart, compact, quick...

No, Man City and other teams tried that. The only way to beat Liverpool is by slowing down the game and exploiting the holes they leave behind in the midfield + the weaker links in their defence.

Positionally they tend to be indisciplined.

No team can win against them playing at their pace and intensity. Just won't happen.

We currently are positionally very indisciplined, play an unsymethrical system and are slow as shite.

I just can't see how we can beat this Liverpool. Yes, we have Messi, yes we have Dembouz, but Mane vs. Bob and Pique would result in at least 3 goals for Liverpool in this potential tie.
