Palace also scored a great goal on counter albeit poor defending from VVD.

They looked a bit unsure how to approach game when Liverpool down to 10 but trying to hold result.

Game looked too quick for Nunez.

Palace are an embarrassment

One man extra and they still played with 9 men back

Patrick Vieira just ruined any chance of getting the Arsenal job tonight

Title race is pretty much done. That four point gap is not insignificant given how rarely City drop points and they look a much better team than Liverpool as well.

No he didnt.

They just took a point at Anfield.

Just lazy to assume Palace go on to win game if try and attack more.

Guess you're a Liverpool fan since you're so mad about Palace not wanting to get cut open by a much superior side

Liverpools threat with Nunez off was the pace/direct running of Salah and Diaz even with ten men they are favs to win the game ahead of Palace and more likely to score if Palace started attacking when ahead.

To make out Viera should start attacking more and not try to protect the draw is nonsense. He was waiting for them to over commit and try and hit them on break but players fluffed few chances they had to do it.

Coached it well.

One of the clear signs of decline is how difficult they find it to score these days.

Was a theme towards the end of last season as well in the important games.

Erly on a downward trend, Nunez fine but not exceptional

Mane checked out mentally, not saving that one. Good on them for moving on earlier and giving others a buffer year to get into a bigger role. Should probably have replaced with another LW to keep Diaz busy and as not to lose out when he's absent.

Nunez has been in that country for a month. Everything from game to language to culture is different. Would of unlikely gotten that red in Portugal IMO
