Long term? Or 1 season? He could try to see if the players can bounce back after a failed season and then move if they can't. Usually 2 back to back bad season is a sign of a done cycle.

Pep needs perfect players for his system and elite technicians for his style to work. He can't adjust and accomodate decent players into a world class unit.


He's a tactical genius but needs the best of everything to succeed. Not versatile in that sense.

ETH got all the players he wanted for his system and failed.

When pep gets all the players he wants for his system, he dominates.

Each coach as different kinda players they like.

You can't swap klopp and pep and expect the teams to perform the same way.

If ETH was at city, with pep players he would look like the bang average manage he is.
