Don't think Pep has motivation to rebuild a completely different side from ground up. They have too many players from the core that declined a lot and his signings didn't pan out really.

Barca didn't have aging players at the time he left the club.

Barca didn't have aging players at the time he left the club.
He had players like Puyol, Xavi, Alves, Valdes who were entering their early to mid 30s and were players he had at his core when he first took on the Barca role. Also players like Abidal and Villa who under consequences would never returns as the same players they were prior to their injury/conditions as they were in their 30s too.

Haaland was already on fraud watch right?
Hes very very talented. He’s just not the kind of player who creates and scores out of thin air. Give the guy a few good chances per match and he’ll definitely score, but on his own, he depends on the delivery of chances. Without the “system” working for him, he disappears.

I was wondering who DonAK was referring to when he said some are now calling pep a fraud.

I put ter rambles on ignore so didn't see his usual rambles.

All top coaches, need top players.
We ain't gotta have this debate again FFS.

Will get hate for this but fuck it:

Pep would do worse than Ten Hag with United's squad and board.

Pep needs perfect players for his system and elite technicians for his style to work. He can't adjust and accomodate decent players into a world class unit.

He's a tactical genius but needs the best of everything to succeed. Not versatile in that sense.

Still the best manager in the world now obviously.

You had a bit of point but you had to push it up to ETH . Pretty sure he doesn't finish a full season on negative goal difference.

Tbf I think we’ll see him scoring soon enough.
But this argument doesn’t hold up because he’s been underwhelming against better teams since long before today.

Also Ederson is the most overrated goalkeeper around, anyone with two eyes sees that. How is he in the fifa top 11 above anyone really?

Brazilian Ter Staren, with even lower game IQ.

Pep is trying to make Haaland play short pass mickey mouse football, he thrives on counters. He had no space this game. Is he supposed to turn into Messi?

Nah temp you looking at it wrong, as is too often the case.

ETH got all the players he wanted for his system and failed.

When pep gets all the players he wants for his system, he dominates.

Each coach as different kinda players they like.

You can't swap klopp and pep and expect the teams to perform the same way.

If ETH was at city, with pep players he would look like the bang average manage he is.
