It was a landslide for Perez.. everyone acknowledged he is the best equipped and decided not to run it's an acknowledgment he was the best one running for it .. similar to what happened in your elections 2 years ago.. no one presented himself vs Laporta due to strong presence .. don't know why you want to twist it considering that what happened in Barca in 2006 or do u still don't apply what happen in Barca cause is different than the rest of the world

If we go with Perez saying they have €300mil then we can assume that there is 94 in the pot to spend, so why are they dragging their heals with Xabi? Does the 300 really exist or was it an exaggeration by the press, or does that figure also include the wages for the first year on the new signings? That would explain why they are so desperate to offload before they can buy again.

If so, how much do you think they need to raise until they can buy again?

they need to offload now to leave a room for maneuver however when a chance arise like Granero & Arbeloa they do act even though they said they won't buy before they sell they took both players for 9 Million Euro.. if it's a bargain they will take it..

regarding the figure or the exact figure of spending.. all Perez said " to regain our position and be able to compete we will have to do in one summer what we normally do in 3 seasons " and considering Real annual spending is usually around 80- 100 that's why people speculated it will be 300 Mil

The difference between Laporta is that our President was an incumbent and I see a massive difference between a sitting President not being opposed and an incoming President allowed to sneak in through the back door and assume the reigns of power. I'd be appalled if that happened at Barça.

the guarantee depend on the club budget.. it's not a fixed figure.. so it's not discriminating in a way .. 15 % if the budget is 10 Mil means 1.5 Mil.. it's just the fact that the money in Real is plenty
if you plan to take over a club worth billion + Euro and a turnover of 400 Mil and u have 10 K in the bank it's not right..the socio agreed to this to make sure no one will come and rob the club of it's money.. lets not forget any change in the club rules is made and approved by the fans ONLY so it's not discriminating IMO

regarding the elections no there was at least 2 people who have plenty of money.. it's just the polls and public opinion all indicated a landslide for Perez as u remember
