Yeah you have a point about the current "wenger " i would even say delusional not idealist
I think maybe in 2 years (and i believe by that time Jose will be wanting to go ) Raul would follow his buddy in Barcelona footsteps . he is definitely has the brains for it although i feel Salgado could make a better manager
the reason i think about Raul is that he is a control freak with a strong character and was coached by so many managers
the thing with raul is, I think he's one of those who still wants to play and will do for a couple of years at least. and he won't walk straight from playing to coaching, certainly not the first-team. I do think he'd make a fantastic manager, because for all his predatory instincts he was a great team-player, and as you say a complete control freak and very passionate about the club. but he'd need a year in castilla to learn the ropes, IMO.
salgado is a great shout too. he's eloquent enough in english (sky have him as a pundit for CL and occasionally lliga) I can imagine in spanish he'd really be able to convey his ideas and get his team to fight like hell for him and the club. but again he's still playing so it'll be 3/4 years before he's ready for the first team.
but you have two great options there, for sure. they could even be a great duo (raul #1, salgado #2). and they'd guarantee managerial stability at reial coz you can't fire raul!
