you have to put them in a system that works properly and get everybody in to the tactics. make them perform week in week out.
one week maybe you are down 1-0 then you have to make a change etc.
it's not easy being a manager if that's what you think

ignorant lol

samuel - played a real but never really was that good. mourinho made him better
lucio - same for lucio although with bayern
maicon - no1 u can have that
zanetti - same here
eto'o - transsformed eto'o from a goalscorer TO a defensive winger which was one of the main points why inter won treble
sneijder - lol you have no memory what happened two seasons ago? or u started watching football last season?
milito - zaragoza, genoa then Inter? so worldclass and known before his inter spell yes?

He made Inter champions of Europe. If you know anything about that club, you don't question that the man can get results.

Poor_Sunyol

In Lucho we trust!
He gets results for sure, but that doesn't make him the God of football. I suppose it comes down to how you view the sport.

Would not say he is any sort of god of football, but then no one here did. But to say Maicon alone would have more effect on a team than a manager, let alone one of the best, is not the case.

Always said Jose was never the tactical genius english press say, and that his short term viewpoint on building teams is not the best. But you can't question the effect he has on teams, and the ability he has to make them successful.

Momo Diarra and Drenthe to go and maybe another central playmaker (VDV ) but that was complicated after Kaka crashed out
Jose already said the team will only have 23 players a month ago , 2 for each position and 3 keepers so it's Momo and Drenthe unless something good comes out and an alternative is available

1.Julio Cesar-some say the best keeper in the world.

2.Lucio and Samuel-with the form of their lives.

3.Maicon-probably the world's best RB

4.Cambiasso-one of the best in his position(if not the best)

5.Wesley Sneijder-Real Madrid given gift-brilliant player,Ballon d'Or contender.

6.Eto'o-gift from Barca...plus 50m euros.

7.Zanetti-Mr Consistency

8.Milito-surely one of the top 5 strikers in the world(some say,the best)

*Jeez...what idiot can't see that Mourinho is the GOD of football?

You are a certified retard...
was Porto a contender for the CL ?
did Chelsea win the league before he arrived let alone twice in a row ?
did Inter overachieve in Europe for the last 35 years ?
Wesley was terribly off form .. really off form only idiots forget that..
FACT : Kaka who was crap last season had more goals and more assists than Wesley the year before it in Madrid .
If Managers don't count why RM galacticos didn't win anything for 3 years and Barca lost 2 years in a row everything?
you really have no clue about football

I think he was being sarcastic, sunny. His earlier point was that signing Maicon would be more effective than Mourinho/a manager, which is what I found seriously odd thing to say.

samuel - played a real but never really was that good. mourinho made him better-how do you know that?
lucio - same for lucio although with bayern(he is the Brazil captain...Mourinho made him...really?)
maicon - no1 u can have that
zanetti - same here
eto'o - transsformed eto'o from a goalscorer TO a defensive winger which was one of the main points why inter won treble(you can have that for what it's worth)
sneijder - lol you have no memory what happened two seasons ago? or u started watching football last season?(yes he was not that good at Madrid, but he always excelled with the Dutch national side...how can all of you be so certain that Mourinho made him good as well?)
milito - zaragoza, genoa then Inter? so worldclass and known before his inter spell yes?
(He scored shitloads even with those teams...that we know for sure)

And look...Mourinho is one of the best managers out there(results-wise) maybe THE best...but my objection is directed to all this unbelievable hype(even mysticism) surrounding his name...30% has to do with his considerable abilities as a manager...the rest...with the media's infatuation with celebrities and the "personality cult".Secondly, the public's penchant for easy straightforward answers to a bit more complicated questions rapidly results to this kind of syllogism:"Inter have won the CL...well that Mourinho MUST be a genius" conveniently forgetting that Mourinho had FAILED to land the CL the FIVE(5) previous seasons...even though he had Roman's vault at his disposal...

One of us must surely be a retard...

Was Greece a contender for the Euro 2004? Why don't you sign Rechagel?

Did Chelsea have a billionaire owner before?

Was ever Inter so lucky in the transfer market as they were last season? Did they ever enjoy this lack of competition on the domestic front?

As for Wesley...maybe it was Madrid's fault...maybe whatever...he was brilliant with his national side though...how can you be so absolutely certain that it was "Mourinho who made him good" whatever that statement is supposed to mean...

RM galacticos got old at some stage...Barca was crap in 2007-08 cos Ronaldinho transformed into a pig(and possibly a cokehead) ditto Deco...Messi was a boy and got injured,Zabrotta was where Alves now roams...

...and yes I know nothing of football...after all it was me who cheekily declared that Germany was massively superior to Spain before the WC semi in all 3 lines!!!!!and that Klose would ridicule Puyol(end result Klose does not even touch the ball,Puyol wins the semi)

No one is claiming that jose is a saint but what you're saying is that he doesn't do shit for his team and his team are better without him is wrong!

well...no and no...I clearly stated that he may in fact be the best manager in the world...maybe not...it is impossible to measure managerial potency with any accuracy...what I said is that there is a myth built around his name...which I find excessive...to say the least. And yes...quality of players is the fundamental question in football.Managers are secondary, managers can only utilise or fail to utilise their given materiel...but it is the materiel itself that is of primary importance...For example we can send Guardiola home, and Barca would still be good(better or worse is another matter) but if we dare remove Messi/Xavi/Iniesta we would be like any other odd European side...

Yes and Chelsea was so successful after Jose left , right ? so was Porto ? did anyone mention Inter domestic front ?
Sneijder wasn't that brilliant with the Oranjie before
even before the Galactico were old they didn't win everything every season.. speaking of Otto.. the question is would greece inferior team win the Euro without his boring tactics ?
u are kid with no idea about football
oh and with regards to Germany .. there is a difference between prediction going wrong and total ignorance about football which you fall easily into the later .. but it's expected from someone who said he will dumb Barca if they play bad.. another glory hunter

JCCR_FCB

Barcelona, a Cidade Condal
Today, I saw in a newspaper that since 2000 (with the sign of Figo), RM already spent 1.023 millions euros in new players...

Chelsea lost the PL title in 2006-07 with Mourinho in charge...but they reached the CL final next season with Grant and lost out on penalties...they won the Double with Ancellotti scoring record amounts despite being the same ageing squad of the earlier years...in fact Chelsea has done better in the CL with Grant and Hiddink(losing to that Iniesta goal on the 93rd minute) than with your beloved Mourinho...yes he won the thing with Porto...but never with Cheslki...Rafa Benitez kicked his ass with lesser players...2008-09 with Inter was crap at the CL failing to beat Anorthosis and losing to Panathinaikos at home...before the arrival of Milito/Eto'o/Lucio and Sneijder...and my being a glory hunter or not has nothing to do with the value of my arguements...but you wouldn't know that...
