Rodri

Vinicius won the CL though. And he actually was more decisive in winning it than Rodri for Spain.

Rodri for Spain got injured at 0-0 in the final, and Spain beat England with Zubimendi effectively.

I think Rodri is one of the best players in the world, but Vinicius was just more influential and much more clutch last season. The fact that Spain is a much better national team than current Brazil doesn't change this.

Would say Football wise Vini deserved it.

But with a year with Euro in it and his antics, it's not surprising he didn't get it.

And I am glad. I hope this humbles the cunt down.

Yes, it's the antics imo. This is a voted award. If you talk shit often, people are gonna dislike you and vote against you based off that. You don't win popularity contests by annoying people.

What's left is for him to pull the racism card because a white player won instead of him.

What more does vini have to do to win it?

Genuinely confused about the criteria here he won the league and the champions league as a star player?

Vini is getting robbed tbh.
But voters fatigue is a real thing, Spain hasn't got a ballon d'or during their golden generation, EPL didn't get one in 15 years, while in the past 15 years only Messi won it outside of Real Madrid.

It was bound that journalists would love to recognise someone else.

I don’t think anything except football reasons should matter if you want these awards to remain credible…
