Lukaku on Koeman, starts at 8:00:

Man this clip says a lot.
After years of Ernie babysitting the spoiled kids and letting them not train, you want someone exactly like him, to tell players straight at their face that they are lazy that they need to improve and do more.

And frankly, as much quality, as Puig has, if he does not learn these values now, and is a cocky kid already at 21, he will never become a top player.

That's why I am 100% against any managerial change in the next 1-2 years (apart from the documented already fact that he has improved the team). Imagine Xavi coming in and all that work in restoring discipline and the authority of the coach getting binned...
That would be terrible

Jamdev must be the most relentless demagogue in this forum. Strawmaning, shifting goal posts, weaseling out and backpedaling like a pro, while accusing others of doing so.

Steady on there Grinder.

It was a shit post, strawman, shifting goal posts response that started that wee exchange and nae by me.

You cry strawman when also cry about being taken for your words and love a good shit post so pipe doon.

Did you delete your original reply, then rephrased it to look chill and cool?

I told you before, get out of your mum's basement. Living at home after 25 is a major red flag unless you're paying off some insane debt or something. You miss out on personal development, independence, confidence, knowledge and WOMEN.

So according to Lukaku, Cowman is a straight forward kinda guy, and say it to his face when he is performing bad. I just wonder what he says after each match to Busquets, Griezmann, Coutinho and other underperforming star players. Lukaku at 23 was nobody or at least not comparable to stars like Busquets or Griezmann. It just shows that Cowman is selective in his feedback, reward and punishment.

Maybe he tells them off too you know...
Lukaku was being told off by Koeman, but he was starting him. The fact that these are starting games does not mean necessarily he is easy on them.

Georgie guessing again about what goes on in dressing room.

Koeman has a vendetta against Puig and doesnt 'go against' senior players despite fairly regularly dropping and taking off early Lenglet, Busi, Pjanic, Coutinho and Griezmann. While putting more trust in young players than about any Barca coach can remember and praising those young player more than any in team bar maybe Messi.

Make an assumption on a vendetta against Puig with no knowledge and use it to form other opinions.

Top stuff.

100% agree

Koeman must stay next season. He deserves two seasons at least with this team.

Don't know when it's filmed, but he pushed out Vidal and Raki, who were prominent midfielders. It's not like he's got physical beasts waiting to replace Busquets on the bench.

Whatcha doin', Horatio? No pay for you today..
