Anyone else bothered how he always blames the team and says things like "But what can you do with a squad like this?".

How come clubs like Young Boys who won against MU, Club Burgge who drew against PSG and Sheriff who beat Real don't have the problem of "having a shitty squad"? Have you ever heard the coach of Sheriff saying "But what can we do, we are just a poor ass club from Moldova?"

Guy has absolutely zero clue about football and coaching.

True, of course we can discuss players, and yes, obviously as BBZ point out, not everyone form La Masia is God. Players have some flaws, team is not selected ideally (speed etc.) but we are getting hammerd worse than moldovan clubs. This can not be possible.
It is all down to stupidity of coaches and some delusion about our style. I always remember Milner, Handerson midfield and L'pool cruised, because Klop had their strengths highlighted. We would have them playing slow, static football and get angry they can't dribble pass 4. If Mbappe was here instead of Dembele we would have another talent bashed. He would also play 1 vs 4 all the time.

Is he wrong though? There is quality in the squad, but it is unbalanced as fuck. He had two fit strikers to go into yesterday's game. Demir is not a striker/winger for me. Ansu not ready yet.

We had 6(!) CBs in yesterday's squad, but no options in attack. None of our midfielders is a threat in front of the goal. Messi, Suarez and Griezmann left within a year. Who is gonna score the goals?

Not gonna defend him that much. I didn't like the line-up, but I fear no coach is gonna do much better with this selection of players. Not until all players are back from injury.

A coach repeatedly trashing his players is usually a sure sign his days are numbered. At this point it's just a question of who to find/afford as a replacement but sooner or later Koeman is done.

It doesn't even matter if it's true or not that the squad sucks, the coach so blatantly commenting on it shows that things aren't working.

It needs to happen before Atletico match. Koeman can't be behind the bench 100%. We are doomed otherwise.

I know, sucks to be in hurry but Laporta was considering next coach for some time now. He should know by now.

All of those humiliations have taken its toll on me, man. I'm already in the phase of acceptance

It's not about humiliations even. It's about the coach complaining after every game. He doesn't seem to understand the situation Barcelona is in. Meaning: he is not the man for the job.

His acting is toxic. Players want leader in tough times(opposite comments to Koeman we heard in media)..he gave up.

You are right. I just stopped reading his statements after the games and interviews in general. Players probably do the same already and don't listen to him anymore.

Deep down everybody in the club knows Koeman needs to go. It is not that easy though. Preferred candidates have a contract with other clubs and then there is also the problem with the salary cap. Releasing Koeman and promoting Schreuder or Cruyff or Albert Capellas are probably the only options we have.

Schreuder can have his chance. He would probably take it, even if it was for this season. Gives us more time to figure out the next coach and the salary cap.

[SPORT] | Ronald Koeman will be sacked in the coming hours. The next few hours will be decisive to know who will replace the Dutchman at the dugout.

Whenever he makes substitutions in "big" matches, he makes things worse. It's a consistent pattern, check it out!
Against Benfica, the game was kind of even until he made his substitutions. Bar?a even had a few chances to at least equalize.
But the subs triggered a big collapse.
It's almost as he treats every big game as a laboratory experiment, where he suddenly decides to try something new after 60 or so minutes.
He seems to consider himself as great tactition who introduces drastic changes to save a game. However, the effect is usually the opposite, the intended "save" is turning into a disaster.
Then he blames the outcome on the players who were unable to execute his bold ideas.
What he will have done well is to give all those young players a chance. However, most were not ready, at least not for the big stage.

There's some talk about Gallardo now as well.

Personally, just judging from their presence/charisma, Xavi and him are the only ones I would be happy with. Pirlo and Martinez give me aids.
