UEFA is a joke, so i'm not shocked if this happens, even if they have to change all the FFP rules and so on.

At the very least we will get some nonsense compromise, so they will be slowly let in over time.

Well the idea was because of security concerns.

Well, the non-existent Saudi airlines (not in actual operations for another two years) became Atletico Madrid's main shirt sponsor, I guess it is not far-off to think that perhaps one day Saudi Arabia will buy the entire Atletico Madrid or another La Liga club like Sevilla or Valencia etc. Then the pressure is on Barça and Madrid to up their game to respond.

As far as I know, after the 1948 Arab-Israeli war there were huge tensions between Israel and all its neighbours, leading to them being expelled from the AFC in 1974.

Now that Neymar is also onboard of this circus I expect everyone and their dog to join SA league. We already know footballers are just as greedy as any human. Maybe the 5% top players would still say no because they are also paid very well in Europe(not SA level, but still). But the rest? Why say no to stupid money when at the end of the day it's what you are playing for?

I dont know about the rest of you but I dont think I could ever see myself watching that league even if they do start getting the best players in the world to play there.
I think I would just lose interest in the players that play there.

As long as there isn't anything prestigious on the line it's just an exhibition league. Training games while they rake in cash, as if they're on vacation.
