It?s 2022 yet this bloody relic starts - Catalan tax is real. Him starting causes a ripple affect on the rest of the midfield and defence. Almost like some predicted Busi would be this bad...

Think that is last six European games Xavi has started Busi/Pedri and Gavi with Barca winning one of them... V Plzen.

He doesnt learn.

It is sad that Busquets will probably retire without ever having been benched at Barca, at this old age.

Been absolutely abused in Europe year after year but no manager has ever had the balls to get rid. And they all paid for it.

Bayern away his passing was terrible and second worst % in team while he made something like 30 odd passes as couldnt move to get on bal... then chased ball up park leaving huge hole for second.

Xavi plays him again regardless v Inter... where he chases ball and leaves huge space on edge of area that Inter score from.

Guess what... Xavi plays him again v Inter.. where he fucks up long pass out wide on break.. ball comes back to him..then fucks up a short pass that Inter break and score from.

Unique skill set.

May this be his last important game for fc Barcelona. Xavi had to learn at some point. He may provide the occasional vertical ball or steal a Ball per game but his fuckups are so much more impactful.
Go retire already and leave us be.

He doesn't offer anything on the ball either, except one touch passing side ways and backwards.

Gets killed by attackers in Europe every year as he leaves gaping hole in midfield.

Why is he an undisputed starter? Why?

Good 1st half. Nice ball retrievals, good 1-touch passing, and some nifty moves to evade pressing Inter players.

Had some screwups in the 2nd half.

Needs to be replaced as soon as possible.

If the Catalan media actually have any courage and not just spreading tabloid gossip and lies like they always do, one of the journos needs to press Xavi on Busquets and why he thinks terrible performances are acceptable game after game in Europe from him.
