Is this really the case? I heard a couple of different people speak of a mediocre game regarding Busquets. I haven't seen the match myself.
Yes. He was really good. Besides the moment he was stripped by Pelle and had to foul for a yellow card i don't remember putting a foot wrong for the rest of the match. Helped transition the attack from the back and read the attacks of the italians like the Busquets we used to know.
I think Koke really helps his game. He is the closest in style to Xavi. He runs a lot and makes himself available very often. He also very intelligent and knows when to drop back to help with the buildup and when to stay higher up the pitch for a through ball. They compliment each other really well.
