Out of all the senior players Busquets is the one that has the least to offer even in a reduced role.

He is a dinosaur both physically and tactically. There is no use for him in modern football.

His decline also coincided with Xavi and Iniesta leaving/ageing. Combined with him slowing down with age/losing motivation and energy and you've got someone who is basically the modern equivalent of Deco in 2008. No longer fit for purpose in a Barca midfield.

He could probably go to Italy or PSG and flourish in a slow league and coast or embrace a new challenge which he needs.
