Good 1st half. Nice ball retrievals, good 1-touch passing, and some nifty moves to evade pressing Inter players.

Had some screwups in the 2nd half.

Needs to be replaced as soon as possible.

They almost scored in first half when he made next to no effort to defend player when ball came into box and ball ended bouncing on the line.

The standards for a 'good half' from Busi are beyond low.

No doubt about his inability to cover ground and lack of footspeed. But for a DM, his passing and distribution were great in the 1st half. Quick to release the ball when there was a passing lane, skillfully avoided defenders who were pressing, and kept the ball circulating. Also always been good at ball retrieval with those long gangly legs.

He needs to be replaced for the overall good of the team as shown in the 2nd half, but his ballplaying ability is immense. One of the greatest to ever do it.

Busquets got some qualities like his one touch passing but nowadays whenever he need a few more touches it seems like he ends up making the wrong decision on the ball. Like he did tonight lol.

Anyway he is a complete liability even with all that.

If you win the ball back and then retain possession, you're not out of position.

Lowest number of passes and worst pass % mean nothing. Fails to measure the difficulty of passes, if it was under pressure, and which parts of the buildup and play the passes were completed in.

Trotting out useless stats that don't paint the complete picture. Reminds me of the parable about the blind men and the elephant. Focusing on a small part of the overall, and being stubborn about it.
