He neither gained or lost much from it.

He was a goal a game for you, not as good stats for Juve. You could have easily won another CL had he stayed, he’s been dumped out of CL with Juve and in a league where his teams won the last 9 titles in a row. Beating Barca to title is way more impressive and he could have done it with ease last season.

Not to mention returning to United and winning an EPL with them. Looking at United this season, it was achievable. Going back at United would've been better. The toughest league with by far the best spotlight, could play the loyalty and "romantic" card of returning to his first big club, underachieving team but on the way up filled with young athletic players and so on.

This Juve team is too old and jaded, and their young players aren't anything special. Their CB line is 70 years old ffs.
