Swansea City

Swansea needs to take an awesome youth player on loan from United, Arsenal, or Chelsea... maybe even ask Barca for one of their Barca B strikers for half a season's worth of experience.

They always have the lions share of possession but don't have someone willing to put it away.

Honestly think we'll be one of the best sides in Europe next 3 years if we don't sell our players for stupid prices, which we don't have to (debt free)...

Keep adding to this system and we'll be awesome

Impossible... Not trying to bring you down, but you have to realize that Swansea will be fighting relegation or in the lower-mid table. They've had a good start, but the squad is paper thin. In a month or two the fatigue will show and you'll drop like a stone. Happened to Hull City (who were 3rd or 4th in October in their first season), happened to Blackpool, happens to pretty much every club that first comes up from the championship. Plus times have changed now, you need a billionaire sugar daddy to be "one of the best in Europe"

nope, I don't accept that. We are one of the best passing sides in the league (top 3) and our style makes it so it's hard to beat us usually (6 clean sheets). We have some of the best young talents in the land with Dyer, Sinclair, Allen, Taylor.. a great Goalkeeper and a great young manager. No financial troubles at all, a big catchment area (only Premier League team in South Wales - 2 million catchment area)...

Blackpool or Hull didn't have that... Look at Valencia right now with their financial crisis yet they are still a major force. I think we could do the same down the line.

no, you don't have great young talents.

these players are not great. they are average players made to look better because they are playing in a system that is one of the finest in the league (many clubs don't even have a system). and unless you get serious investment to improve the quality of your players, you will hit a brick wall and freefall right down the table. or some middling PL club with more money than sense will tempt Rodgers away, only to sack him a year later when their overpaid primadonna average players get upset at having to work hard to fit in with his system.

now, I hope none of that happens and you DO get investment to improve, but I don't see it happening.

We've been playing the same way for years now, under our last 2 managers before Brendan too. It's the Swansea way...

It's also taught to our youth teams too.
