An Argentine player, born in 1998 who currently plays for Girona, on loan from New York City FC. He made headlines just moments ago when he became the second ever player to score four goals against Real Madrid. Cant recall though who the other fella is... Doesnt matter. Anyway, Barca should sign this guy immediately given our poor striking options. Wouldnt cost any dough, still a young kid and certainly better focal point than whomever we are having currently.

Shambles.
The only word to describe club's squad planning and transfer policy at the moment.

Sorry, but paying attention to any player because he dicked Madrid is 17yr old level thinking...
It shows there is no department that tracks consistently players across the globe and prepares their files for the Sporting department.

When Planes was around (who Xavi kicked OUT, as he man himself said some days ago), he was doing some decent work there, albeit not elite due to lack of proper structure (analytics department, etc).

Honestly, Xavi should accept a Sporting Director (a real one, not his buddy Jordi) with authority over him,
or else he can fuck off already.

We can't continue at this amateurish level

In two days no one will know about this guy.

He could be decent option as backup, but probably his price is now much bigger because one game.

Also, we can only get free transfers so we don't need to worry about signing him.

It's probably the journalist looking for an exclusive.

Girona will be weaker next year

Dovbrick, Aleix, Savio and Eric already gone.

We'll see.

First XI will be worse on paper but I think overall depth will be better at the end of TW. Which they will need to play in CL.

Krejci (should be upgrade over Blind) and Luciano Rodriguez are already signed. If they can also get Taty and Abel Ruiz (I think they are targetting both or at least they'll bring two strikers; can't really count much on Stuani at his age. Could as well give a chance to Pau Victor too if they won't sell him to us).

And they'll surely get loanees from CFG (Savio and/or Couto could potentially return) after getting a green light from UEFA and sign some more players with their help.

Eric, Romeu and Pablo Torre could all return too and Michel wants Aimar Oroz from Osasuna who I quite like (Athletic is in for him too though).

So team might not look all that much different besides Dovbyk and Aleix leaving but they'll have more than enough money to replace them and improve team in other positions.

Didn't realise UEFA changed the ruling on loans. That changes everything for Girona City then.

Luciano is a player that I think will be a success. And as you say Aimar is a nice squad player too.
