Thiago Silva was never injured that much at Milan, Nesta was the one almost ALWAYS injured and Thiago paired with one random other CB all the time.

I am really glad Barcelona didn't pursue Thiago Silva any further considering his apparent injury proneness this season at PSG.

Also, I think both Silvia and Messi will be in the starting line-ups come Wednesday night.

Missed both matches vs Barcelona in the knockouts last year. The pairing was Nesta and Mexes. I knew it without looking it up because I remember Nesta was phenomenal vs Messi but I wanted to provide proof.

He was sorely missed as he was our best player. Mexes fucked up aswell trying to pointlessly skill Messi.

He got injured in the semi final vs Juventus in the first few minutes to which we ended up losing, then getting dumped out the CL & finishing 2nd behind Juventus.

Season went to shit as soon as he got injured.

If he's such a big fan, he should have signed with us. I'm not buying the "I already gave my word to PSG" bullshit. He didn't sign a contract, who cares about "giving a word" in modern sports.

But what PSG gave him, was couple of millions more.

This. The things he's saying now are pretty embarrassing to be honest :p

Thiago Silva (PSG): "For me, Barça is the best team in the world, but we have to win to qualify and I think our forwards can hurt them." (barcastuff)

:) every opponent says the same before a game against Barca

lets see what he can do today

I'm not speaking about Champion's League or vs Barcelona, I'm speaking about in general throughout the season.
