Improvin' Perfection!!
Doesn't play like Ibra because he does pass a lot and isn't a purely "poke the ball in the net" kind of forward. He'd fit well if there wasn't a certain someone occupying his spot :messi:
If you have described Ibra as some one who doesn't pass a lot and is purely a "poke the ball in the net" kind of forward, you couldn't have been more wrong!!

No, he describes Ibra as someone who does pass a lot and doesn't purely poke the ball into the net. :)

Unlike RVP, who just takes set pieces and scores goals (and still manages to be the best player in the EPL ).

Personally i believe there's RVP and Falcao and then the likes of Tevez/Aguero/Suarez/Zlatan/Villa below them, maybe Rooney inbetween at his best.

But only striker I've seen reach the levels RVP has last 5 years is Falcao, these guys are doing things that haven't been seen since Brazilian Ronaldo retired and he was on a different level to both.

Why not, name me another striker like Rooney who does what he does as good as what he does?

Rooney is like a Aguero/Tevez type player with far more qualities, you can play him CF/2nd striker/winger or CM and he'll do a job at a WC level, how many players can do that?

Infact it is probably unfair putting him this category of CF's due to all these reasons, he's a different type of footballer, so if that's you won't address the Rooney bit fair enough, but I hope you aren't trying to dismisses Rooney's qualities, if so it's not the E thing again is it? :shakeshead:

Don't think anything else i said is unfair or inaccurate.

*splutter*

You look at the goalscoring rates over the past few seasons compared to say 10 years ago and it's increased big time, to the point scoring 20 odd goals isn't particularly 'brilliant' by todays scoring standards. van Persie's doing nothing that hasn't already been seen before, Henry and van Nistelrooy used to do it on a regular basis, in fact, way before Ronaldo scored 42 goals for Man Utd, van Nistelrooy got 44 in one year.

Falcao is the best centre-forward in the world right now, could make a case for second best between van Persie, Benzema, Suarez, Aguero, Ibrahimovic, Cavani and yes, even Rooney. Feel sorry for Villa, most deadly goal scorer in Europe until Barcelona bought him, unfortunately for him Messi's just a considerably better player even if he isn't a centre-forward by definition.

I wouldn’t say Falcao is the above RVP in anyway, he’s doing great things at Atletico but I think everyone knows he won’t be the same player at Chelsea, maybe still a very good player but not standing out how he does now at Atletico. He’s not on the same level as RVP in terms of talent but is playing at RVP’s level right now if you get what I mean? – RVP could play for United/Arsenal/Milan/Barcelona and do what he does now, Falcao is limited to certain counties & 1 particular style footballing I feel, South American/Spanish/Portuguese, all very similar – Stick him in English football and he wouldn’t be the same player, possibly similar with Italian football too.

Van Nistelrooy - He all he was really was an old fashioned striker, not extortionary in anyway, just a poacher, he’s was like a draw back from the typical 80’s/90’s WC centre forward, that is not a bad thing btw, but I think centre forwards have now moved on, WC centre forwards are what RVP is now showing, what Henry WAS, what Ronaldo WAS, I would say Ronaldo was the 1st generation the modern WC centre forward, the bench mark that like likes of Henry become and now RVP.

The Suarez’s are WC players in their own right but different, Rooney himself is different player from any striker what I can recall in my lifetime.
