Wouldnt be surprised if Pep blames Cancelo for that loss.

Criminal to be that far behind defensive line and then get caught under ball.

None of the goals came from his side.

Also for being "pocketed", Vinicius missed like 3 clear-cut chances. His poor finishing did him in tonight more than Walker pocketing him.

The first goal came from a cross on the left which Cancelo as RB was yards behind the rest not only keeping Benzema onside but then gettin caught under ball with no idea where Benz was.

Rewatch the game, attackers will always get a chance here & there but walker won that duel, even the commentators said as much, was a key change in the game when he went off Injured.

Conjuring football explanations again??
There is none.

Any other team playing the way RM did against City would have lost 6-2 the 1st game, and comfortably 0-2 the 2nd game.
If it weren't Cancelo, some other way to fuck up this would have emerged...

I'll watch an extended highlight tomorrow. But for now, I'm not buying this narrative of City's defense being rock solid and then falling apart after Walker came off. Where was he when Vinicius missed a face-to-face chance in the first minute of the second half? Or when he glided past City's defense to set up Modric in what could've been a goal had Luka not missed a simple control? where was the defense when Benzema was left by himself twice in 15 minutes in the first half?

The super clutch Rodrygo + the energetic and vertical Camavinga coming on were more decisif factors than Walker's injury IMO

Walker not being on the pitch made a big difference.

Look at minutes and goals from first leg and tonight.

Six goals conceded all with him off the pitch. Doesnt mean that Real wont get chances with him on and double impact for City is Cancelo moving from LB to RB also.

He is about last player Pep would have wanted to come off.

Guaranteed given the game he was the last person pep wanted to come off, zero. Goals condeced when he was on the pitch.

Not making walker out to be some godly fb, but he made a huge difference for city today.

People forget players can improve their colleagues just by presence or how they communicate. Walker instills confidence to team.
