Vitor Roque (loaned to Real Betis)

Media reported Xavi told the board they would have to pay out his contract in full if they wanted him out after he said he’s staying.

I doubt club have the money to sack him anyway
How can he suddenly say he stays after he said he will leave AND ask his contract be paid in full? :lol: That's the stupidest shit I've ever heard :LOL:

Yep. We could have legally challenged it and at worse kept his payment tied up with legal fees until he agrees to our terms of termination.

A trainwreck of a football club currently. Roque might well be shit but to sign a Brazilian youngster under severe FFP handicaps only to discard of him six months later, when he was initially due to join the club no less nicely summarises the lack of direction.

@BarcaSpaces

Deco has decided that Vitor Roque will not continue with FC Barcelona next season. He will ask his agents for either a loan or a permanent transfer. Xavi believes that Roque isn't reliable and the sports management agrees with him.
@La_SER

Embarrassing. Unacceptable.

Embarrassing situation. Roque has shown everything anyone who watched in Brazil would have expected.

The only interesting Q now is what sort of team he ends up at. A loan isn't necessarily bad, but us being open to a sale is a basic admittance that we think he is shit.

Surely Xavi lied to Fatporta about his real intentions, and Fatporta took him on his word instead of his contract. If Fatporta told the truth, he'd be forever shamed and embarrassed needing to resign, so now he's letting Xavi destroy the team even further next season until total decimation gives him the public support to pay Xavi's ransome. He's probably gimped enough to think Xavi will relinquish his contract at that point, when obvious Xavi has proven he has no qualms putting himself before Barca's survival. And Xavi's narcissim has himself thinking he's more important than 'his' team who's failing to implement his ideas.

Who needs Madrid, Bayern and Pool when our own amigo can do black miracles from within.

Roque's agent rightfully won't allow a loan, only a sale. Pretty sure most clubs around the world have figured out now board and Xavi are incompetent so shouldn't matter what they think of him. If only the world knew this before Xavi sacrificed Puig.

Puig wouldn’t suit gimpball there’s a reason Xavi refused to coach Messi

Try to pull that stunt at your work place :lol: Tell your boss you fucking quit, than a couple weeks later you tell him/her that you're staying and your boss can't do shit about it - and IF you maybe get fired he owes you shit ton of cash... Oh Nelly :lol:

It’s different because Xavi is the honoured one

which doesn't match the eye test of the few minutes he entered the field as a sub and produced goals, energy, pressing

This is all Xavi's idiosyncratic whims, who also thought 35yr old Lewa is what we need at CF, and we all show how well that went

and I repeat AGAIN: Has Deco or any of these clowns studied const/benefit and risk analysis?
Do they know how you handle assets at a football club, and what is strategic planning of a squad?
