Roberto Martinez would be very good... but he would need a great support from the board to bench the past-their-best primadonnas and to deal with their stupid obsession with possession!
As I said in the Tata thread we need a dictator rather than a coach
A coach with personalty won't let the players make the tactic for him. You don't have to be a dictator to make your point in front of the players. If we need a dictator, it's one who should dictate not by force, but by knowledge.
Nobody would tell someone like Marcelo Lippi or Jurgen Klopp what to do, or how to play. I'm convinced we need someone not only skilled, but renown, famous, whose name alone impose respect and makes you look up to him. Someone with a long resumee. Someone like Ancelotti. Even my mom knows Ancelotti, and she pretty much hates football. If I tell her about Paco Jemez she'd say he's a soap opera actor.

WOW. Take that Mourinho!
THIS! :beer2:bring heynckes out of retirement
The guy's a dinosaur. He has no future at a top club. Plus, have you seen his ROI team play? It's some of the worst football imaginable. Tata is already getting plenty of criticism for his style of play, it would be tenfold under Trap.I've got it. Trapattoni.
In another thread, I already said this:
" I don't think Frank de Boer is ready to be a Barça-manager yet. In big games, Ajax has often lucked out. They looked clueless against high-pressing opposition, and Ajax did not fare well in the European cups, despite them getting decent draws. He also has a tendency to put players in the wrong position (Schöne as a cdm, Sigthorsson as a lw, Janssen as a cdm), though he usually sorts this out in time. De Boer is still an inexperienced manager, and even though I like him, I think the step from Ajax, a team in a second-tier league, to Barça will be to difficult for him. In a couple of years he might be capable, though. "
Frank de Boer is a tad overrated, although he has the potential to be a good manager in a few years.
