Which National Team do you support?

I was just wondering which team you support and how you were affiliated with them.

For example. I am born in Canada with Chinese decent.
I can support Canada and/or China, but I choose to support Spain because of my love of Barcelona

I support Sweden, but since we don't often get through the group stages - Spain!

I dont support a national team but i like to see fcb players do well. Spain is often the most represented nation so i guess you could say them.

England, but my sympathies are with Spain if they survive the tournament longer than my nation of birth. I'd support the Catalan national team if they were allowed to play competitive games.

I support Argentina. Maradona made me love Argentina and football. Though I didn't get to see him live. I am a huge fan of Batistuta and now Messi and Tevez.

It would be interesting to know where those who don't support their home national team are from. Is it because you live somewhere without a great footballing tradition i.e. Middle East or is it because you dislike the players on your home NT? I find it difficult to be too enthusiastic about England because I really don't like players such as Rooney and Terry and the peòple who follow England are often wankers, however I'm proud to be English for many other reasons so I'll always support the guys wearing the three lions.

Im from England. I've never associated with the english mentality, and it doesnt make sense to feel obliged to support a team that you dont want to. For me its fcb, and then no other team. National or club level.

I support Albania because of the Kosovo players that play for them. If it weren't for them Albania would suck more than it sucks now. I hate most of the players from Albania except the ones that come from Kosovo. Actually there's 3 players I don't hate in Albanian team: Lorik Cana, Armend Dallku and Debatik Curri... all other players are wankers especially Ervin Skela. When Kosovo gets accepted in UEFA and FIFA( After 30 years because football plain sucks here) I'll be supporting Kosovo.

I have a soft spot for Spain mainly because of Barcelona players and I also like Turkey and Croatia.

I was born in Monaco from Italian roots .... so i support Italy & France and avoid going home when they meet (Dad Italian-Mother French ) especially when we have the rest of the family around from both sides... Pasta Vs Croissant

Spain. Simply because half the Barça players play there. Used to support Argentina as well before Diego took over, but I still enjoy watching Messi play for them.
