It's clearly Messi!
God sent his son for us mortals to enjoy. The Messiah pulled of some miracles along the way and all was good. Then, when things weren't so rosy, the weak "fans" looked for a scapeGOAT. It ends with the Messiah being crucified.
Still to be seen if he comes back from the dead for one last miracle.

barto and the board,no need for explanation
setien - i put him strictly for bayern debacle, man even if you're managing cows you cannot let your team tank in 8 goals
senior players - i agree with arguments that it's up to them also but i still believe they could have perform with proper manager who knows his job

Easily the board with Bartomeu mainly. Their responsibility is to take the club into a positive direction, they failed on so many levels, not only on the pitch.
Partly the players (seniors) are to blame as well. Their behaviour has made it difficult for the sporting management and coaches to take the leap to a new direction.
Players that have only been declining since 2017 or so have been hard to remove out of respect "they've done so much for this club, they deserve to leave whenever they want".
We're basically on the other spectrum of Real Madrid who throw their legends out on their asses.
We've been too afraid of asking players like Busquets, Rakitic, Suarez amongst others to leave so that we don't step on their toes.
Too much complacency in the squad have led to the players thinking they run the club.
Partly the players (seniors) are to blame as well. Their behaviour has made it difficult for the sporting management and coaches to take the leap to a new direction.

Rosell/Barto regime inherited superstars from previous regime and rode them all the way into the ground. Milked all they could from the golden generation, both commercially and sporting wise with no regard for the future and that is the biggest reason why we are in the position we are today.
No proper market strategy either. Instead we simply chased big names and luxury superstars for massive over payments. Every half decent player signed for massive wages for 5 years and seniors got extended any time they pleased.
Terrible coaching hires due to "Barca DNA" mantra rubbish and never on the same page with them when it came to signings and vision. No communication or cooperation at all. Managers had to work with whatever they were given. Many times with too many players for certain positions and too few for others. Never had the mandate to bench certain players and were ordered to force others into the lineup.
Not too bad brand and business wise, but terrible footballing decisions all around.

But honestly messi is the reason for all this. If he wasn't that damn good to individually be able to paper over the cracks of an entire team which I think only Messi can than Barto may have been voted out a season ago and drastic changes would have taken place already.
