FC Barcelona transfers figures as of now, according to transfermarkt.de

Barca looks to go over 100 million in signings and could also be breaking the negative 100 million figure in profit/loss when it comes to summer transfers should we go for another hight profile signing.
So, the question in poll is addressing the overall +/- figure

Will happen if they buy Cesc for example, while not selling anyone of real value (i guess Guddys sale wont earn us a lot). I just dont know their financial situation too good, but it could mean they prolly wont have a lot of money left for next season, unless the loaned out players like Hleb, Caceres etc. are finally sold then.

Generally its prolly the right time to invest into the squad anyway as Madrid is trying to break into Barcas hegemony, to keep up the motivation inside the squad and to fix some weaknesses. I guess next season it will be the time to look out for longterm replacements for Puyol and Henry.

PS: interesting to see that transfermarkt.de is apparently used as a source in croatia too :) Bojan: do you actually speak german by chance?

I don't believe it. Without Villa or Ribery and with case Eto solved, I think that we don't have any player in discussion for a value of 35 millions. At list at the moment...

Got to agree with Adam on this, it may come to a near 85M but not over 100M.

We don't need anymore high profile signings we got enough stars as well as the purchase of Ibra, right now we need solid players (maybe cheap like the transfer of Yaya) that can cover our thin areas of the squad (midfield-Defense).

I'm sorry how is ibra counted at €68m?

if eto'o has a sale value, which apparently he does, then we paid €48m for ibra.

A bit of perspective on the historical transfer operations by the current management:

According to our papers we've set aside 30 ME for Cesc. (Which is gonna be a Laporta buy (?) as it is his big signing that won't be a replacement plus political move against Rosell.)

That clearly puts our spending above 100 ME but net we might still be able to keep down below the 100 mark. Not too sure I approve of the Cesc deal but if we're gonna buy him anyway either this or the next season then it might as well be this one and whatever keeps Rosell away from Barca is fine by me.

Interesting charts. But it's unfair that we keep sending out otros on loan and taking him back. He deserves a crack at first team football.
