Wait how many play outside England (in their prime)? English players don't need to move abroad since playing outside the PL is generally a step down footballing wise and in terms of culture outside football the UK is one of the most civilized technology advanced country's in the world and 2nd only to America mainstream and entertainment wise and English in the most spoken language in the world, all these factors come into accusation when players move aboard, so as you can see English players don't need to go overseas to find better competition or a better lifestyle.

For the ridiculous amount of money we'll have to pay for him, we could secure Hummels and Ter Stegen/Guaita.

Edit: Just realized, Aguero is probably the much better option if we were to sign some more attacking players, considering his friendship with Messi and previous experience in La Liga.

Wrong, Mandarin.

Statistically it's Mandarin but in terms of regions around the world, Spanish.

I think that only considers first languages. As a second or third language (in addition to first ofc), English is definitely the most widely spoken in the world.

So yes, English is the most relevant language in the world. There's a reason most schools around the world teach English and not Mandarin or Spanish.

Well English is the main lingua franca out there... Although Spanish, French, German, Latin, Arabic and Mandarin are useful too. But English is the most taught second language in Europe at least.
