Xavi was very angry during the half time against Almeira. He broke several bottles and shouted heavily at the players and told them: "I want you to run like pigs!" [@fansjavimiguel] #fcblive

PR hypejob by Xavi and his brother themselves or who's leaking this smh

What is the world is Laporta doing?
Any smart person could see last seasons win was an anomaly and there were glaring deficiencies in our play.
Laporta us a deer in the headlights. Doesn't want to make any decisions and is making things worse. Perez but he makes makes decisions, right or wrong but he makes them.
Xavi should be sacked. Its getting embarrassing now.

He is currently having a boner over Superleague millions and doesn't realise that we play like a hot pile of pure shite.

The winter break comes to a perfect time, Xavi as well as players can recover and hopefully with new power we attack the second half of the season. There are still 3 trophies to win:

Supercopa
Copa del Rey
Champions League

Relax. Reset 5.0 incoming.

We're struggling immensely moving out of the 4 man midfield to a 3 man attack.

In truth the opposition missed way more than they should have last season so the results flattered us.

What does Xavi do to turn this around? I reckon he has few answers as all his structural blames will be down to not having Busquets. Which may be true in part, but only because we decided it wasn't a priority to allocate funds to his replacement.

Laporta isn’t blind. He enjoys beautiful football as much as we do. Of course he sees this disaster. How could he not?

Problem is, we hired a club legend who’s immensely popular in Catalonia. An amigo of other legends in Catalonia. Hence why he could just barge into the club, influence player acquisitions, appoint his own brother and amigos in important positions (who had little or no experience), despite being immensely under qualified for the position.

Fire a friend of Catalonian friends mid-season, and it will have consequences. Every politician understands this. Decisions matter. Ridiculing and firing Koeman mid-season is not synonymous with doing the same thing to Xavi. Hence why Xavi is still here, despite being the most under qualified manager in all the top leagues. And this is reflected on the field - how we play is synonymous with a pile of shit, despite having one of the highest wage bills in the world.

Unless we get utterly ridiculed against Napoli, and lose a top 4 spot in La Liga, I think we are stuck with him at least until season end. Sadly!

Winter break is here and to summarize:

We are 7 points behind with tougher schedule ahead than Real.
Most embarrassing thing isn't really that Girona is way ahead but fact that of 5 top teams Barca has the worst goal difference.
Stats don't lie no matter how Xavi tries to spin it.

I've seen worse. Some people haven't been born or were little to remember the pre-Ronaldinho days of Barca.

Anyway this era is long gone. Ronaldinhos are thing of the past, every great player nowadays is poor man's Hazard level compared.

Something Xavi highlighted recently - if we don't press and run like Klopp's Liverpool, we aren't going to win anything. Barca don't have the magic players anymore.

Barcelona has 5-6 players very comparable to players from City and Liverpool. The problem is City and Liverpool have 10 more of those, and Barca outside of those 5-6, have nearly zero.

10 players at 40-50m each is 500m. Money the club simply doesn't have.

It's a simple equation of squad value. Thiago Alcantara hasn't played for Liverpool in ages. But he is not missed, because they signed midfielders worth of 180 m last summer.

MacAllister + Soboszlai + Hendo + Gravenberch. 4 midfielders in one go, of which 2 of top quality.

This is fecking Liverpool. 8 years ago we used to make fun of their squad while handpicking their only world class player in Suarez. Now they are levels above us.
