I'm already seeing way too many people here and outside rationalizing this transfer. "He's only there for moral support, he's not actually going to play. We need experience."

Come on. What the fuck is happening to the fans of this club? The standards keep dropping and there's no end in sight. Like I get we're broke but fuck, the fucker's 38 and has literally been playing in Brazil for the past few years - this is the equivalent of bringing back Ronaldinho from his Atletico Mineiro stint. Like seriously, get a fucking grip guys; it's a ridiculous transfer.

Yup,
I bet people could have tried to rationalize even the hypothetical decision of bringing Ronnie back from Atletico Mineiro

Living in the past has bad consequences for one's rational thinking abilities

Current day Ronaldinho would bring a lot more than current day Depay, that's for sure. Wonder if Xavi still got his number

Breaking!

Xavi will push for the return of Lionel Messi

Although the nature of his departure soured the relationship between Messi and current president Joan Laporta, the return of Xavi Hernandez as head coach could prove pivotal in the Argentine's return. [Marca]
