The squad won the league DESPITE Xavi, not because of him. And they spent 170mil on three players for Xavi. They did spend. He just wasted it.

It is a lot more than that in reality.
The cost on books of 34 year old Lewa is around the same as 100m player on 12m a season.
Barca have spent the equivilant of 200m+ for Lewa, Ferran and Raphinh.. while Messi, Dembele and Griezmann left for around 60m.
Then have salaries... folk make out Gundo is 'free' but his cost on books if 18m salary is true is same as a 50m player on 8m a season.
Xavi has had a lot of money to spend since came in and has had a base of young players there gaining experience.

Yea for sure.
I just find it odd people say he's been crippled by the market when he spent 220mil in transfer fees on Ferran, Raphinha, Lewa and Kounde.

They are playing garbage football and it's the worst it's been since pre Rijkaard. They are not doing "great".
There are teams with way worse players and that haven't spent 100s of millions who are playing way better football than us. Everything you just said is rubbish.

The excuses here.. sheesh. Would all the Xavi simps here would really put up with this kind of shit with any 'outsider' coach? I doubt very much. This isn't about some poor results, but an absolutely abysmal display second season going despite having relatively talented squad. Certainly not 'great', but for sure, better than what we see them in performances.
