Actually a little surprised he is still here. Nobody wanted Xavi to succeed as much as me but Sunday's loss was a seminal moment. The team died that night.
It felt like the 8 2 all over again. That game should have spelt the end of Pique, Busi and Roberto's playing career in a Barca shirt but we all know they lasted much longer than that.
We are just so slow to react to the obvious. There is no edge of ruthlessness about the club at all, apart from sly digs drip-fed cowardly to the media.
It's clear as day that Xavi has lost the dressing room, there is no pattern of play, there are glaring errors in the tactics every week, the signings have been gut wrenchingly bad, the backroom staff is full of amateurs.
I can't think of one reason why he is actually still here. Is there anyone who can see him turning it around from here? We've been here before with Koeman, Setien, Ernesto. The fans can all see what needs to be done, but the people in power need another few months and a few even more embarrassing humiliations, it seems.
