Just read that :VdB: I assume the Belgians are pissed off as well, they were hoping to cap him. Might be even more bad news for PSV because maybe they'll play him with a light injury so that he won't be able to pick Morocco in the future.
These friendlies are useless by the way, just ridiculous.

Playing an international friendly doesn't make your choice definitive. Only an official game can so we won't play him if he's injured.
Still, would've liked to seen him play a couple of minutes.

This guy could be very good, United were in for him 2 years ago when we signed Pereira who is also 17 now & he was rated higher, illustrates why he should stay at PSV, he is playing in CL and is getting called up for Belgium whereas Pereira was only the player of the tournament at the Milk cup a week ago. Until he is 19 he should stay. Damn Belgium could be a force for a long time but they need to ensure Bakkali doesn't choose Morocco, Adnan doesn't choose Albania and Pereira doesn't chose Brazil.

Bakkali is an exciting prospect indeed.
This guy is 5 months older than me :(
Can't imagine playing CL football at my age

Well he will have tough competition if he wants to play for Belgium - Hazard, De Bruyne, Chadli, Mertens - all are still young enough.

It's still not official according to the latest rumours, but it seems he will choose Belgium definitely. Very glad, would hate to see a great player like him for an African country tbh...

Bakkali will announce his choise today in a press conference in Brussels where the youngster is training with the Belgian national squad. According to Belgian press few hours ago, he will officially announce his go ahead for Belgium. Obvious choice if you ask me.
