He should've bullied Barcelona last night, not prance around with pretty assists. He could've & should've took Adriano to the cleaners. imagine if it was Drogba leading PSG's line instead.

Where's the Lavezzi thread? He managed to finish the game with about 35% pass accuracy as well as 6-7 shots and no goal

And thus will is his Champions League legacy be carved into stone; the guy with the silly ponytail who topped the assist charts one random year.
Or the guy that played dream-team Barcelona away in a CL quarter, and outperformed every player.

(yeah, I know your potentially best player was injured, but I think I still highlighted how ridiculous that post was)

I think, perhaps, people expect him to lead the team and be more of a goalscoring threat, but he did very well in the second game after an average performance in the first

Sorry jr, don't be so eager, read the posts before trying to be funny. The fun factor kind of relies a lot on what is written.

(Hint: Messi didnt even count)

Oh, so he outperformed every player except the player he didn't outperform. Gotcha.

One could almost say every does that.

So what you are trying to say is Barcelona is a one player team, no one else counts, no achievement beating the other "squad fodder" right? At least now you are funny.

I didnt count Messi because he played like 30-40%. He probably would have been the most important player if he played the whole tie, it is not a far fetched guess.

No, I'm saying that you can't "outperform everyone" if there's a player you didn't outperform.

I didnt count Messi because he played like 30-40%.

Do you mean time or amount of effort he put in? Because if it's time, it's instantly wrong (due to him playing the entire first leg which was, you know, 50% right there) and if it's effort, he seemed like he tried pretty hard in both games.

I did watch the first game (did I say something wrong?), but fair enough, not the second. However, I'm pretty sure when a half-injured player comes on and creates a goal against a rock-solid defense he does better than a fully fit player who doesn't completely destroy our pathetic defense.

Oh, wow.

I don't think I've failed that bad for a while...

...

Nonetheless, my point still stands, maybe even more. Messi managed to impact the game as much as Zlatan, against a better defense, with less time on the pitch.
