Like he did in game v them in the group?
He and Gavi were skinned a good few times as Benfica broke and Casado must have give ball away badly at least twice on front of defence that they broke from.
One of his worst games.

Same Raph going nuts at Casado for a pass forward v Las Palmas etc that others would be analyzing to death if FDJ.
Clear as day Frenkies passes ball forward more and earlier than Casado.
FDJ beats him easily on.. progressive passing yds, progressive passes, passes into final 3rd, expected assists, passes into penalty area and through balls.. also carries the ball forward a lot more both in yds and carries.
All that leads to FDJ being involved in many more moves that lead to shots than Casado.. and goals.
But aye keep microanalyzing any time a player thinks they should have got it earlier in desperation.
Flick knows it.. other coaches mention it, stats show it... but usual Barcaforum folk have no clue.

Yes true. But he's young, and will do mistakes.
Him and fdj are two different profiles, and against a team like Benfica I fancy Casado ahead of him. In other games I prefer Fdj.
He will never have the finnes like Fdj but he has some diff qualities which I like.

All players make mistakes but I dont think Casado will be chosen v Benfica as he improves Barca against teams that can break.

Still don't know what you guys are on about here, really. Frenkie and Cass have different skillset and strengths. The Coach sees this and uses that to fit into his gameplan depending on opponent.
I have been a great admirer of Frenkie's skills and talent but I would be mendacious to say there are no couple of things that Cass can be said to be better at, obviously, as CDM.
They are both good. Rather than bicker about who is better, I leave the coach to sort that out, expecting that either will turn up perfomance wise when called upon...... while I savour the feeling of at least a position that Barca can claim to have the luxury of quality options on the bench, either ways.

Admire his effiort but jesus fucking christ hold position a bit and dont be trying to skin last defender as if have that in locker when on to plug gaps.
His passing and ability to calm down on the ball was really poor. Felt like blootered it early too often.
Worked hard and couple challengs though.

Highly doubtful. Don't think we would get more than 40m and even that is a stretch.
Teams will want to see more from him before they make a move. He's good but it's not totally clear how good he is yet. Some signs of flaws that haven't been fully exposed yet.
