Hansi about the disallowed goal by Atlético's Julián Álvarez in the penalty shoot-out against Real: ‘What do you want from me? I think it was an unfortunate situation. I feel for him because he's a fantastic player, one of the best strikers. It happens, I have nothing to say about it because it's not my decision. I saw it and I sympathised with him.’

Hansi about Borussia Dortmund as an opponent in the quarter-finals of the premier class: Dortmund are special, have a good team and showed that in Dortmund. At this stage of the competition, there are only good teams. We're looking forward to it and are happy to have reached the quarter-finals, but now we have to focus on Atlético.’

If you wanna look at Madrid mafia and corruption in CL, look at this:
I have always had the feeling that Madrid have been almost ALWAYS getting the long timespan (Tuesday to Wednesday, 8 days span), rather than the short one (Wednesday to Tuesday, 6 days span) between 1st and 2nd game in their KO ties played in a week's time.

So I decided to look at the data from the last 15 years

24-25 season so far:
R32: City - Madrid: 11-19 Feb (8 days)
R16: Madrid - Atleti: 4-12 Mar (8 days)
QF: Arsenal - Madrid: 8-16 Apr (8days)
23-24 season:
QF: Madrid - City 9-17 Apr (8 days)
SF: Bayern - Madrid 30-8 May (8 days)
22-23 season:
QF: Chelsea - Madrid 12-18 Apr (6 days)
SF: Madrid - City 9-17 May (8 days)
21-22 season:
QF: Chelsea - Madrid 6-12 Apr (6 days)
SF: City - Madrid 26-4 May (8 days)
20-21 season:
QF: Madrid - Liverpool 6-14 Apr (8 days)
SF: Madrid - Chelsea 27-5 May (8 days)
19-20: covid season
18-19 season:
Madrid out early
17-18 season:
QF: Juve - Madrid 3-11 Apr (8 days)
SF: Bayern - Madrid 25-1 May (6 days)
16-17 season:
QF: Bayern - Madrid 12-18 Apr (6 days)
SF: Madrid - Atletico 2-10 May (8 days)
15-16 season:
QF: Worlfsburg - Madrid 6- 12 Apr (6 days)
SF: City - Madrid 26 - 4 May (8 days)
14-15 season:
QF: Atleti - Real 14-22 Apr (8 days)
SF: Juve - Real 5-13 May (8 days)
13-14 season:
QF: Madrid - BvB 2-8 Apr (6 days)
SF: Bayern - Madrid 23-29 Apr (6 days)
12-13 season:
QF: Madrid - Galatasaray 3-9 Apr (6 days)
SF: BvB - Madrid 34 - 30 Apr (6 days)
11-12 season:
QF: Apoel - Madrid 27 - 4 Apr (8 days)
SF: Bayern - Madrid 17-25 Apr (8 days)
10-11 season:
QF: Madrid - Spurs 5-13 Apr (8 days)
SF: against each other

Now, I have always had the feeling that with Barca the opposite is the case (almost ALWAYS getting the short span between 1st and 2nd game), and the data says:

24-25 season so far:
R16: Benfica - Barca: 5-11 Mar (6 days)
QF: Barca - Dortmund: 9-15 Mar (6 days)
23-24 season:
QF: PSG - Barca 10-16 Apr (6 days)
18-19 season: Madrid out early
QF: UTD- Barca 10-16 Apr (6 days)
SF: Barca - Liverpool 1-7 May (6 days)
17-18 season:
QF: Barca - Roma 4-10 Apr (6 days)
16-17 season:
QF: Juve - Barca 11-19 Apr (8 days)
15-16 season:
QF: Barca - Atleti 5-13 Apr (8 days)
14-15 season:
QF: PSG - Barca 15-21 Apr (6 days)
SF: Barca - Bayern 6-12 May (6 days)
13-14 season:
QF: Barca - Atleti 1-9 Apr (8 days)
12-13 season:
QF: PSG - Barca 2-10 Apr (8 days)
SF: Bayern - Barca 23-1 May (8 days)
11-12 season:
QF: Milan - Barca 28-3 Apr (6 days)
SF: Chelsea - Barca 18-24 Apr (6 days)
10-11 season:
QF: Barca - Shaktar 6-12 Apr (6 days)
SF: against each other

CONCLUSION:
the last 15 years, Madrid had been given 15 out of 26 times the favorable scheduling, around 65% of the time
on the other hand, Barca during those years had been given 5 out of 16 times the favorable scheduling, just 31.2 % of the time

SHOCKING CORRUPTION
So most of Madrid's opponents have also had 8 days between matches while most of Barca's have had 6. Questionable whether this is even favorable or not.

Old narrative of Madrid getting favoritism from Uefa has been getting more misguided with each year. They've gotten pretty much the toughest route to the final in each of the last four seasons while Barca the last two years have gotten the easiest one. If it was other way around, yall would be saying how of course Madrid gets the easy draw and whatnot. Instead it's the opposite so now folk are whining about something that probably has no advantage one way or the other.

Madrid were getting easy draws until 2016. Then that changed.

But after that, refs and black voodoo took good care of them despite the hard draws

Still, the data I presented stands.
Madrid mafia in UEFA working overtime to let them rest more in between the crucial KO games

PSG vs Barcelona final would be sickkkk

Two best teams in the world right now

Dream final for me right now.

But Arsenal and Inter are not easy to eliminate.
and of course, you never know if VARdrid with their voodoo shit can still fluke another CL

Someone has to stop them, because if we fail to make the final for whatever reason.

90% they win another CL.

At that point its just getting freaking ridiculous.

Barcelona will win their side of bracket easily.

Real Madrid favourite on left side, but PSG and Arsenal strong too.

I still hope for PSG vs Barca final

Icl, due to me having too much free time, I have watched around every Champions League final from 1993-2024, and I can't seem to notice that the 2012 final is somewhat overrated Imo, all of the first half and mostly the second half was full of half chances from Bayern and defensive play from Chelsea, and the game truly became good after Muller scored the 1st goal in the 88th minute. But, I see that it really doesn't make any sense for people to rank it so high above amazing finals like 2013. Imo, 2013 is the best UCL final of all time after 2005, ofc my favourite is 2011 alongside 2015.

Not sure about that. Think Bayern will be tough if get through and two evenly matched teams and approaches.

Bayern dominated the ball for long spells and got themselves into decent areas.

Most seem to favour Inter to put them out. Not so sure on that.
