Oh, please stop. Frankie's taking 150 touches of the ball when he could do with one. He still hasn't learned how to move the ball fast enough. Remember Cassado's pass in the Clasico? I'm sure in that episode Frenkie just touched the ball 150 times rather than making a quick pass to Lewandwski like Cassado did.

Fake news..FDJ moves ball forward quickly when needs to and moves it forward more than Casado by a long way.

Flick wants FDJ to hold ball and get team set positionally at times.
These players that just pass first man see open get overly praised.
For all that FDJ is levels above Casado and Gavi for how often he will pass ball forward and progress the game.
It's not about which of them makes progressive passes more often. It's about Cassado being much quicker to make progressive passes when he has the opportunity.

He doesnt.. FDJ moves the ball forward, creates more chances, makes more through balls... any progressing stat can think of FDJ leads him by a long way.
That is impossible if choosing to dally on ball more.
Frenkie helps the team progress the ball more by a long way.
Teams also can sit off Casado and similar to Araujo they want him on it and sitt tighter on Pedri.. seen that multiple times in last few months. In way they cant with FDJ as has much more ability to help team open game up.
