I would be happy if we never have anything to do with Koeman again…some people burn their bridges everywhere they go, he’s a great example

How the fuck did he burn his bridges? He acted classy and was there for 125 y. anniversary.
Laporta had a hard on for him ever since he took over.

Laporta is one that is burning bridges. Ask Messi.

Talk to Toffee fans or those of Ajax, he has a scorched earth approach that some Dutch managers have a rep for

The Barça tenure as a coach was filled with too many burned bridges to enumerate: singling out players in press, singling out board/president in media (during & long after his exit), the 13M exit clause crippling the club during a dire financial crisis vs Xavi who paid his exit from Qatar and did not recoup a penny upon his firing

Legend? Easiest thing in the world to do is not rock the boat when things are going well, you learn about a person’s character when there is adversity and he burned too many bridges at Barça

Messi - no one knows what happened there & yes, absolutely, this is a bridge that has to be repaired by Laporta. But that has little to do with Koeman or his legendary status

Correct me if im wrong but that was the 4-0 win vs Mister in Copa final, wasnt it?

Marcelino was their coach at the time.

Laporta was an asshole when he told him he is looking for a better coach, no doubt.

Otherwise, Koeman consistently used his guy in the media to talk shit about the situations and in his interviews he comes as salty.

He will remain a club legend as a player, meh coach for us but he was handed awful situation and accepted the job when no one else wanted anything to do with it.

Kill them with facts, not feelings

Well said.

I mean he could hate Laporta all he wants but where was he under Bartomeu who was decimating the club? Not a word when it took socis to generate a motion of censure in a media blackout by club.

But once Laporta got in and wanted his own choice, suddenly Ron has a voice and never stops attacking him and by extension the club. Throughout the FDJ affair as well, constantly attacking the club as Dutch coach on why the player is injured - you don’t like the president (Like say Bojan), fine but publicly rebuke him, not the club

But again, where was he with Bartomeu - not a damn word, he can go to hell

Where were all these vocal voices during Rosell and barto, they caught a throat bug I guess.

Koeman has consistently been angry at the club since laporta took over and sacked him.

Compare that to how Xavi acted after being sacked in a much worse way I might add.

That tells you all you need to know.

but some try to talk negative about Laporta and Xavi consistently.

Same individuals not just on some forum but generally where 🤐 under barto, constantly talking about amigos.

Koeman is a playing legend, but his behavior since getting sacked, reduces his overall legend status.
