Plenty of their fans seem pleased with how they played against Forest, and believe it demonstrates the progress they think they're experiencing in recent months under Amorim.
Don't get me wrong - they weren't that bad, and I have seen them play much worse. But I am still not seeing anything to get excited about. Forest wanted United to have the ball so Forest could hit on the break. United didn't really create any clear cut chances either until they threw Maguire on to cause chaos, and that is an extremely unusual game state anyway.
Anyone else who watched the game agree with me? Or did some of you think they played well on Tuesday evening? It feels like they're coping and looking for anything to be optimistic about, but if anyone disagrees with me I will reconsider my position.
