Where the fuck so I really even start.

🤦.
Start by stop making such inane comments about Flick opting for height when much more to it than that as proven by who he picks.

Latest excuse.

Height is a consideration.. but there is not one player who played v Benfica for example who has a smaller player on their position they offer more technically.

Not one.

What started as a joke is starting to turn out into a solid squad player. Maybe we have something here.

Did a pretty good job for the most part defensively.

Struggled a bit, which is expected when he's trying to cover the LW attacking-wise. He doesn't have the pace/Athleticism like Balde has to do that. He got better once he had someone to work with on that side.

Don't think there is future for him here. He is physical but it's all he got really. Players need to have more to their game than this. We used to have very good lb backups in Sylvinho, Digne... Can't imagine having to rely on Martin for a extended period.

There is no way the club think he is the calibre of back up required.

My guess would be they are accelerating Torrents through to see where his level is with one eye on next season and taking over the back up LB role at some point sooner rather than later.

If that doesnt look likely probably try to cover it in the summer.

In my opinion, he's established himself enough that he has a future in La Liga in some shape or form if we do decide to move on.

He was rough at the start of the season, he didn't look league standard at all. But he has worked hard and improved leaps and bounds that I can seem some mid-table team taking a chance on him.
