He is there as they couldnt afford anyone else to back up at LB.. they couldnt even promote Valle and the salary it would take to do it.

Plays a lot more than ideally would want because Balde has physically most demanding role in the team.

To be fair to the lad he has been bit better recently.

He's looked way more solid the last few months compared to start of the season when he was a complete terrorist.

If he could learn how to throw a proper cross he would be a perfect backup.

He improved but we have to bring somebody in the summer. Imagine Balde gets another long injury, it would be a disaster.
