9 - Robert Lewandowski

Just stumbled across the post saying Kane and Ibrahimovic have/had more to their games than Lewy and while I am not a massive fan all I can say is.. Jesus fucking Christ

R9 and Pele should be as uncontroversial though.

He needs only 6 more goals to equalize his goals in Dortmund. He scored 103 goals for them in 187 games. He's at 137 games in Barcelona.

His stock has never been so high! My Tuk Tuk driver can't stop miring his last goal and just ran 3 red lights! 😱

Follow WB's mantra and sell when everyone's buying.

Saudis were eager to pay his 500 million clause last year and 150 m. celery. They'd double it ez if we win the Treble or 6xtuchel!

He loves it here but if he gets us the trophies + 500 million, boar will surely build him a statue and buy him a villa in Castelldefels

Can return as our striker coach in a few years time

Question is, what to do with the 500 mil 🤔

Needed 15 minutes to read only this thread after the match but it was worth it!

I couldnt watch the match but saw the highlights, 2 amazing goals from Lewyyyyyyyyyyyyy. First one like prime Ibra and second one like his own prime version. Looks like the little injury he had was true, since he recovered from it he is scoring for fun again.

I always say that your legacy is written by you.

Lewa is writing a historic chapter with the season so far, from both his goal tally at his age and also us winning a potential treble.

He could become an undisputed top 5 striker ever and be threatening the likes of Romario/Muller (the top 2 are kind of untouchable because of peak level of gameplay).
The decisive moments are always what determine who is legendary vs who is just very good.

A lot of really good athletes across tons of different sports get forgotten because they didn't make their mark in the most decisive moments, where everyone is watching, but, this could be the season where he is doing it.

Those moments like finals also are where you gain critical acclaim across the world and not just real football fans, because everyone watches CL finals, World Cup finals and the like.

Let us see what happens, but I will be very happy with his contribution regardless, he's done more than enough and been the best striker in Spain since he arrived. (Karim's peaks at that time were much better but he was hardly available for Madrid in the league).

He has a very very strong case to win the BallonDor if he can help us win the CL.

Would be a lovely story if Lewy and Hansi wins the treble again, they give me the Pep-Messi and Fergie-Cristiano vibez
Honestly... Flick arriving wasn't just correct from a sporting standpoint, but also for the reason that he clearly brings the best out of Lewandowski, and his effect on Gnabry is like that of his effect on Raphinha.

These pairing will go down in history.

2 trebles in 2 different clubs would be crazy.

The Bayern one was a sextuple. Think RL9 is the only player ever to win a sextuple with player of the tournament and topscorer award in every single tournament.
