You're welcome
There doesnt need to be any huge falling out.

Pedri saying it as sees it and not sugar coating it to protect Xavi.

If Xavi takes the huff thats on him.

Pedri saying it as is is different from what was implied before.

I see you changed comment. More in line with what I said now.

Some players, albeit how amazing they were, are simply not great coaches. When a coach starts moaning about club/players in the pressers, it's usually over.

That's the deal with Xavi. And if he keeps moaning, he'll make it even worse.

Pedri young into his career. His club manages are as follow, Las Palmas (Pepe Mel? Though I'm not going to dig), Koeman, Xavi and then Flick.

I'd imagine going from them to Flick would have blown his mind.

Early on in the season, after Pedri talked positively about Flick's training regime and how much better he's feeling there were rumors on how upset Xavi's entourage were of Pedri's words even though they weren't offensive.

I have to imagine Oscar Hernandez is one of those guys who spends his time on the interwebz looking at shit to rage out if it even sounds negative against his brother.

Xavi will always be able to say he was coaching in bad times and managed to win La Liga. Also gave Lamine and Cuba the trust.
Level of football will ultimately be forgotten. Even faster than usual as it was boring as hell.

In short, history will be kind to him.

Flick is surpassing him on all levels. From tactical aspect, beauty of the game and communication. Even players seem to be very attached to him which is a big surprise considering he's an outsider, a language barrier and an age gap.

Imagine a world where you can't praise your current manager because people will think you are disrespecting your old manager.

Ever had an ex girlfriend? Make sure you don't say your new girlfriend is pretty, you may just get attacked by a white knight defending the ex's looks.

I’m not the one who brings up Xavi’s name in Flick’s thread on the regular, certainly not as much as you do - Flick is the better manager and in fact, the best in the world at the moment

Xavi (and the other Barca legends) seem to live rent free in the heads of some though, including you - all for some popularity points with the known anti-Barca trolls on the forum.

What disrespect? Because he’s a legend, we’re supposed to pretend he was ready to coach Barca when he did?

Where do we draw the line with Messi should he come here one day, in Tercera?
He overachieved in league and got us a big title in 1 of 2 years, underachieved in CL.

He was fired because there was a better option with better game style.

He’s not giving interviews on the regular crying about Barca, while here you are pining on his managerial flaws (which we all know by now) while also simping for a coach (EV) who also underachieved and had a similar dreadful style outside of Messi individual skills. And EV as a player did fuck all for Barca

The theme is easy to see.

On the surface it does look like Barcelona underachieved under Xavi but you still have to consider that most of the squad is under the age of 23 and during Xavi's time (2021-24), they were insanely unexperienced in Europe and were prone to making mistakes which is expected from a really young squad. Same people who blamed the PSG game on Xavi due to the masterclass in Benfica with 10 men fail to remember that the last 2 times Barcelona had 10 men in big games such as those, they capitulated getting a draw v Celta and losing to Monaco. Experience improves you exponentially and there is no UCL winning team that won it in the first season of being together.

Didn't this time though did I. You did.

Nobody beats Robin Soderling 13 times in a row.

Well deserved hate. Imagine trying to reach your potential as a young talented player in your fav team FC Barcelona and you're being gaslighted by your lame asf coach that your team bad results are players fault and that you have to lower your expectations about yourself because you're not that good. And then new REAL coach arrives, hes boosting your ego and leveling up your potential as much as he can and all of a sudden you're one of the best player in the world playing for the best team in the world. You're looking at your teammates and they are the same guys that your ex lame coach told you are too weak to compete at highest level.

I would hate him too.

It really is shocking to see us this season... because we really don't have an incredible team, a huge amount of credit is tied directly to him.
