19 - Lamine Yamal

Lenglet should have been carded for that tackle. Can't afford to have Lamine injured now (or Pedri).

It's a pity we didn't have anyone to sub in for him.

More of a Cr7 player.
Sadly he is not going to dictate games from what can we see for now, but produce sparks.
So naturally we need a play friendly winger on the left not another runner, flicker and for sure we don't need another player with nigger syndrome. Already Balde and Lamine are enough.
Raphinha is more a right winger too or a spark player and many times our game is descending into chaotic brawls for the ball.
Moving Raphinha on the right just made our game look more logical.
I still believe missing on Endrick was the fuck-up of the century for Barcelona. He would have made the perfect fit, solved many limitations of Yamal and Raphinha in the future. Now we need two players and I will start with the striker.
Lamine is a Ronaldinho/Neymar player and clearly an anti Cr7 player.

Estevao was as good as Lamine a year back.

But we put an end to that debate by sending them Vitor Roque.

Palmeiras have scored 1 in 4 games since he arrived.

Not Vitor's fault Veiga couldn't score a pen he conceded. Maybe Palmeiras should sign tractor to teach them how to score pens.

BTW, Copa Libertadores tonight, will watch.

I don't think we can win UCL with this attitude from both of them. Imaging playing with chances against Real, Inter or Bayern. Not going to end well.
We can't win the CL with the attitude of Raphinha? Interesting

He works his ass off every game, converts most of his chances, plays very disciplined and follows Flick's instructions

Does attitude get much better than that?

I don't think Lamine's attitude is a problem either, as he works very hard for the team contrary to what some here believe. But the narratives created around him make it less of a suprise for someone to claim such things.

Word attitude generally gets thrown around a lot. It's sometimes pretty annoying. Laziest explanation for anything negative a player does.

Football is a psychological game and human mind is a mess, prone to all kinds of external effects and thoughts that influence behavior. This is the case for probably every footballer in history and only the very best ever have been able to neutralize it to an irrelevant level. What matters is players remain commited to the team and willing to contribute, which currently is the case with all players in our team.

Attitude is least of our problems this season. Flick has set the team up in a near perfect mental shape. They deviated from it from Nov-Dec but since turn of the year it's back and even better than it was before.
