19 - Lamine Yamal

You have folk like Jamrock who genuinely think Gundo/Gavi is better midfield two than Pedri/Frenkie.

Wouldnt even call that level of stupidity as win against.

Not sure why Flick plays him so much when he has opportunities to rake him off. Multiple games this season I see him take off Ferran, Fermín, etc. but somehow he always keeps Lamine on, even when we winning 4-0.

I don't understand it - why risk him even if you think he's fine energy wise? He's your most important attacking player what if he picks up an unnecessary injury at the end. Really strange. Especially when you have such an incredibly crowded fixture list. It seems like the only reason he came off was because he himself asked for it in this case?

Yamal's smart enough to manage his time on the pitch. He has a lot of Imho's gumbyness/injury resistance.

But Flick should've still given Fati dead minutes in the league this season.

Important for him to understand not to overdo his showing off on the pitch, not when adversaries are cooked already. Back in 1970s, he would have his legs broken twice already. Kids like that weren't allowed to fuck around with old dogs. Different times though.

Complete fabricated nonsense about Messi there from the lad who claimed Yamal 'looks shite' and 'will be gone in a few years'.
What’s fabricated about it? He’s totally right about the World Cup U20. You could see directly that Messi would be one of the best from his generation at that tournament. Same as Hazard at the Euro U17.

Gundogan was better than Frenkie last season. Even when they both were playing as a double pivot. Gundogan know way better what it is to play effective football instead of twisting and turning for no reason. Although he also played more attacking sometimes (Frenkie also when he played with Busquets) he still had the number of assists what never realized in all of his years. Frenkie never even had a assist in all El Clasico’s. Played good against Dortmund but often still don’t use the passing solutions what are needed to create danger. Raphinha often gets so angry with him because he likes to play it simple with short passes and takes too much time when quick decisions are needed

Haha no.

Agreed Gundo was better last season than FDJ and Pedri but both were hit by injuries that could barely get going from.

Even allowing for that it was clear as day how much his legs had gone and needed to leave.. club 100% correct to punt him.

FDJ was better in league winning season than Gundo was last season and is better now also.

Gundogans legs were gone and his defending was horrendous. He still had quality playing higher up but was far too slow to press and move off ball particualrly when paired with likes of Lewa.

Well done to Gundogan getting a goal v Real.. despite losing to them in every game badly.

FDJ has had far far better games v Real than Gundo did last season.

But aye you and Jamrock can keep thinking Gundo/Gavi would be better double than FDJ/Pedri.

Frenkie was class v Dortmund.. the fact you cant see it is brilliant.

Gundo is out there struggling to keep pace with Man Utds midfield and being hounded by City fans at how slow and lack of legs he has while City get KOd by Real and are behind Nottingham Forrest.

The stats literally show how much FDJ progresses the ball.. opposition coach multiple times have spoken about it.. Pedri has spoken about FDJ breaking lines to him.. Flick has pointed it out.

But no no.. the numpties on Barca forum keep claiming 'spins on ball and slows game down'.. have no clue what watching.
