CL Round 2: Bayern Munchen - FC Barcelona 2-0

We surprised them with the high press in the 1st half and they were misplacing every single pass, even simple 5 yard passes without much pressure, that is how we created most of our chances. Unsurprisingly they aren't used to being pressed like that by Barca of the last few years. 2nd half...

CL Round 2: Bayern Munchen - FC Barcelona 2-0

We missed a big chance here because they will not play like that next game.

CL Round 2: Bayern Munchen - FC Barcelona 2-0

This loss is the fault of Lewa. 3 clear chances missed and several others went begging because of poor touches or being tackled by Upamecano. Score those and game is completely different.

CL Round 2: Bayern Munchen - FC Barcelona 2-0

Whilst I was watching the Plzen game I was thinking we are lucky their attackers are bad quality because they entered our final third very easily whenever they recovered the ball. Tactical approach will need to change slightly because once Bayern get their engines going they don't forgive.

    7 - Ferran Torres

It's weird that he's a regular in the Spain setup and played in a Pep team because his technique isn't very good. It lets him down a lot, especially in shooting. He's always miscontrolling balls into the box or falling off balance as he strikes shots. And is probably the reason why he can't...

    Sergio Busquets

If he's gonna play against Bayern it's weird he got rested against Viktoria and not today. Kind of defeats the point of resting him that game. May have just wanted to give him rhythm before the Bayern game. Or maybe Xavi is about to shock us all... Actually nvm no chance. Lol.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

At the end of the day we all want Lewa to do well, we are all Barca fans (except Temptation but he wants him to do well too) so let's hope he does break records and scores 50 goals!!

La Liga Round 5: Cadiz - FC Barcelona 0-4

I like Balde but I wouldn't take much from this game bc these guys literally have 0 goals in 5 games. Their attack is toothless.

    7 - Ferran Torres

Griezmann actually scored some goals and made some assists, at least.

    Bayern München

3 league draws in a row for this lot... Time for the Barca train to steamroll these guys

La Liga Round 5: Cadiz - FC Barcelona 0-4

The rotation is a little bit excessive, and not sure why Pique is there over Christensen? Is he injured or another tummy ache?? We are competing on several fronts and all of them are important so let's hope these boys can get the job done today.

    La Liga 2022/23

Andoni Iraola is a class manager. Working in absolute chaos and instability, with a below par team even for a relegation battle, hardly a penny spent, and achieved solid 13th place last season and looks to be replicating that this year too. Were even 4th after the halfway point of last season...

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

I can't say I am near as well acquainted with his scoring record as you but at a glance it seems that most of his CL goals came in thrashings and against inferior teams. Which as you said is fine, most of the teams Bayern plays are gonna be worse anyhow and you still need to win those games, but...

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

You can surely say that Lewa has a better CL record than Eto, but at the same time you are being dishonest and obtuse by trying to say the importance of goals don't matter. Ask any fan if they would prefer their team's striker to score 10 goals across 2 games with Viktoria Plzen or 1 goal in...

La Liga Round 5: Cadiz - FC Barcelona 0-4

Scored 0 goals and conceded 10 in first 4 games in the season. Nothing other than 3 is acceptable, keep it rolling.

    Antoine Griezmann

Well there must be some confusion on either side because clearly they wouldn't keep him on the bench knowing they were obliged to buy him anyway. Could just be Catalan press talk as per usual. They said we would sue Frenkie as well.

    Ousmane Dembélé

Dembele defense clan will accept their W shortly 🤖🤖 But really, the only thing which ever held him back was injuries and lack of rhythm. Now he's got extended time on the field he is improving game after game on top of his already great ability.

    Frenkie de Jong

He was bad but made no difference to the game result, as against Sociedad. Says a lot about what Busquets is adding to the team himself. Frenkie plays shite and yet results are the same. If we had a proper top DM we'd be going places.

    10 - Ansu Fati

He's not well physically yet. Probably somewhat unfit and lacks explosiveness (which he can get back). Keep him injury-free and he'll be very important. The other problem is we have 2 wingers in Dembele and Raphinha that are on amazing form and two of the best in the world arguably themselves...

CL: Round 1: FC Barcelona - Viktoria Plzen 5-1

Beat Sociedad away 4-1 without Busi. Maybe tells you he has no real impact and results are same with or without him? If he was as crucial as is claimed his absence would be noticeable in these games (it is not and results don't seem to vary at all).
