    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25654224 Thoughts? I have heard lots of people comment how we have not missed Messi, but they are missing the point that we have had relatively easy games apart from Bilbao where we lost and Villareal where we struggled.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

As long as we don't go back to trying to force every play through Messi then we will be unstoppable. Hopefully some of the plays where the players were trying to feed Messi despite him being surrounded were just because it was his first game back. Our team needs to remember all our forwards are...

    Francesc "Tito" Vilanova

Damn, he looks way worse than I anticipated, almost skeletal, although I suppose it is great news he was feeling well enough to watch the game. All the best to him.

    10 - Lionel Messi - v3

It's funny how every player gets these types of injuries during their careers, but with Messi it might retire him early. He didn't tear any ligaments, that is when you fear a players career might go downhill, but a muscle injury that is highly common for a sportsmen.

Nah it will finish Messi - 50 goals Pedro - 17 goals Alexis - 15 goals Neymar- 14 goals Cesc -12 goals :pep:

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Barca are just a far superior Arsenal, and they seem to do alright, plus lots of 2nd rate spanish team players go over to the premier league and suddenly become their teams best player. It depends whether the teams park the bus and just sit back and defend. If that is the case then that would be...

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Also it is particularly competitive this year, last year United walked it, the year before that is was close between the Manchester teams, but then the rest were far off. Everyone always claims competitiveness of the EPL but is usually United up their with one possibly at best two other teams...

I think you are forgetting a certain someone at false 9 :cesc:

    Cesc Fàbregas

I'll admit this also can happen, but again I still think some occasional dispossession does not out weigh his more attacking instincts compared to both Xavi and Iniesta. Neymar loses the ball way more than Pedro, so should Pedro play instead. Our problem is when we lose the ball usually both our...

    Cesc Fàbregas

My point is Cesc occasionally has turnovers because he is trying to attack and is trying to look for killer balls, he can easily keep the ball just as well as Xavi or Iniesta if we are leading and he looks to play it simple. Xavi's first thought is to keep the ball, that pass to Alba was because...

    Cesc Fàbregas

Xavi's sidewards passing will have us not having shots on goal all game. And btw Cesc 0.9 turnovers per game, Iniesta 0.9 and Xavi 0.8. Compare that to Cescs 10 assists and Iniesta 2 and Xavis 1.

    Marc Bartra

Masch does the same thing but more often, Alves also does it, and I noticed Montoya do it today as well. Also Kompany does it and he is regarded as one of the best.

    Barca draws Man City

 I'd wondered where they had gone. I went for some pizza and expected to come back to more delightfully insightful comments by transition, only for half the thread to have disappeared.

    Barca draws Man City

Well I think people, I know I am, are basing it on the fact they played two up front against Bayern and got dominated in the midfield, then when they played Chelsea and Liverpool who both play 4-3-3, they changed to only 1 up front. Although I suppose you could say Aguero was injured for the...

    Barca draws Man City

Raping us on the counter attack is literally what every team hope to achieve, hell Elche tomorrow will be hoping to score on the counter attack. We have faced many teams great at counter attacking many times, Man City have not will they ever play a team like Barca again.

    Barca draws Man City

Lol he outpaces Javi Martinez, a man known for his pace is he? And regards to no power for Aguero, I mean he isn't going to bully our CBs which is what the strikers who cause us problems are known for. If City get stuck having to lump balls in the air he isn't going to win the header.

    Barca draws Man City

Classic naivety, Atletico are much better than Arsenal who currently top the EPL, in fact they are much better than everyone in the EPL barring City, where it would be a close game. If Barca, Real and Atletico were in the EPL then they would be 3 of the top 4. Just because the EPL is closer in...

    Barca draws Man City

Navas is not quicker than Alba, or at least it is a very close contest. As I say both Negredo and Aguero won't be playing unless they don't ever want to see the ball. Negredo doesn't have the pace, and Aguero doesn't have the power. And Busquets will have Silva no problem. I don't doubt they...

    Barca draws Man City

Indeed when we were first drawn against them I was very pessimistic but since then I have watched most their games and they are very average defensively and they are a pretty much we will score more than you team. Of course on the flip they will probably play very defensively against us and...
