It really depends on who it is. If it was Villa when he was here, all he had to do was score a tap-in. No matter if he lost 500 balls, didn't dribble past anyone or missed 10 chances or was invicible for 99.9% of the time. But if it's Alexis or Pedro, then he has to dribble past 10 players...

Remember Neymar's chance at the end of the game when he almost scored? Well, there he dribbled past 2 players from the wing and to the goal to create that chance..

imo, what godin did was worse than any diver or playacting. Telling a teammate to go and kick on a opponent is one of the worst thing you can do in football, imo ofc..

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't Messi usually just get like 5 succesful dribble even in his best games? I mean last season Messi only averaged 3.8 sucessful dribbles per games and Iniesta 2.2. And they were respectively 1st and 4th when it comes to succesful dribbles..

Exactly! And this .gif isn't that much better either. I mean, you can clearly see that Costa moves his hand towards Alba's face AND kicks Alba's leg. If he wanted to get Costa sent off, then how come he didn't fall the ground and playact? The referee most likely didn't even see the situation...

So he was only good in the build up for his goal, but apart from that his build up play didn't stood out? Seriously, for some of you, Villa only needs to play average to have a good game..

I will be honest, I might have a bad memory but I cant recall Villa making our defenders commit to many error. And how good could his build up have been when Atletico only had 3 chances the entire game?

In that case Pedro was "bullying" the defender as well. Like I said, the only difference between Pedro's and Villa's performance was the goal, seeing as both pressed the defender whenever possible..

If by bullying you mean pressing, then Pedro did the same, but if you mean bullying by dribbling past players, then I would like to know what game you saw cause I never saw him take on a defender and get past him. From what I saw, the only thing that seperates Villa's and Pedro's game last night...
