    Thomas Muller

High praise indeed. He's on fire so far this season, long may it continue.

Tasty goal last night, any one have a .gif of it?

    Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

Yeah Benzema and Higuain's 30 goal seasons in 2011/12 didn't happen. They're only there to serve Ronaldo...

    Memphis Depay

I have been underwhelmed thus far.

    Juan Guillermo Cuadrado

Looked lively. Amazing how quickly a quality player can turn it on when backed.

    Alvaro Morata

    Strangely hypnotic

    Paul Pogba

It's a case of accepting that there isn't a midfielder you can sign who will be as good as peak Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets. Pogba is a talent, no doubt about that. But I prefer Verratti.

    Luke Shaw

When things like this happen it makes me feel almost sick. Hope he gets back to his best form upon his return.

    Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

He only scores tap ins By going box to box in 11 seconds.

    Thomas Muller

I love how this forum is split between fanboys (i.e. myself) and haters. Not a single person on the fence haha. Good old Thomas Muller

    Thomas Muller

Reading back through this thread is hilarious. "He's lucky" "He only scores tap ins" "He's got the most punchable face". Meanwhile Muller is winning the WC, CL, Bundesliga etc and will very likely be the WC leading goalscorer of all time. What ever happened to players deserving respect?

    Thomas Muller

Football needs characters like Muller - complete passion for the game.

    The transfer system

Fanciful as this may seem, I would like to see sanctions introduced to clubs who sign players either to keep other clubs from having them (football is business, and in business this practice is viewed as anticompetitive) or with no intention - particularly for young players who are key members...

    Thomas Muller

He's such an enigma of a footballer. No other player in the world would have had his scruffy luck for those first two goals, and then he shows unbelievable skill to pick out Gundogan's run for his goal. Loved him since he embarassed England at the 2010 WC and love him now.

    İlkay Gündoğan

He was playing at God mode at times, unreal technique. Crack.

    Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

Nope, he was never near Messi, but he was a hell of a lot closer than anybody else in his generation. My opinion will always be that (on the pitch) all footballers deserve respect - I'm not going to hate on CR7 for stupid celebrations and an underwear line. He's been consistently world class for...

    Gareth Bale

Credit where it's due, that header was a peach. A dying art form.

    Martin Odegaard

Was Messi this good in 2003? Srs.

    Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

All I'm saying is that in 2/3/4/5 years when Ronaldo is gone, we will only be able to look back at a time when a player could be skillful, fast, strong, good in the air, score 55 a season and get 20 assists. Because the current crop in their early to mid 20s simply don't have it in them.
