Reading back through this thread is hilarious. "He's lucky" "He only scores tap ins" "He's got the most punchable face". Meanwhile Muller is winning the WC, CL, Bundesliga etc and will very likely be the WC leading goalscorer of all time. What ever happened to players deserving respect?

Football needs characters like Muller - complete passion for the game.

Fanciful as this may seem, I would like to see sanctions introduced to clubs who sign players either to keep other clubs from having them (football is business, and in business this practice is viewed as anticompetitive) or with no intention - particularly for young players who are key members...

All I'm saying is that in 2/3/4/5 years when Ronaldo is gone, we will only be able to look back at a time when a player could be skillful, fast, strong, good in the air, score 55 a season and get 20 assists. Because the current crop in their early to mid 20s simply don't have it in them.
