    An excellent post.

    Harry Kane

Ludicrous arguments about the "Covid CL". Bayern was by far the best team in the World that season. They slaughtered pretty much everyone. Barca 2009-2012 is the best club side ever. After that I'd put both Bayern 2012-13 and Bayern 2019-20 into consideration for the next slots. Alongside Madrid...

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Remember that when a player gets old and declines it can happen quite drastically. What I mean is, there doesnt happen to be a gradual drop in performances, goals, etc. It can be a nose dive. Instead of scoring his usual 30+ goals a season, he might drop to 10-15 this season. He starts to...

    Erling Haaland

Yes. He has to run past defender and get the ball, thats his game. If he has the ball and he is facing a defender face-to-face, Haaland wont be able to do much. Will be interesting if City and Bayern face this season. It wont be that one sided anymore, I can guarantee. Tuchel has had time to...

    Neymar Jr.

Cant operate as a winger anymore. A 10 role in a 4-2-3-1 formation behind a striker and flanked with two fast, hard-working wingers would still be dynamite. Wont fit into this Barca side.

    Erling Haaland

The second goal was magnificent. Still not the biggest fan of this fella. I do think that the PL (and CL) teams will do a better job keeping him more quiet this season. In spite of his goalscoring instinct, he is indeed very one-dimensional.

    Harry Kane

Kane is currently the best striker in the world. He scored 30 goals in a piss-poor Spurs side. Now he joins arguably the second best team in the world and gets service from the likes of Musiala, Muller, Sane and Coman. He will score a ton of goals.

The only thing he is going to tear is his ankle.

No matter what you eat or how much iron you pump at the gym... When your agility goes, it goes. Lewy is about as washed-up as Temptation is after the Barbie movie.

I think that Alvaro Morata as of 2023 is better than Lewy.

We should ask Valencia for a swap deal for Cavani.

    Kylian Mbappé

Madrid still needs a strong number 9 even if Mbappe moves there.

    Bayern München

Bayern are not looking good these days. Their defence is solid. But they need to sell Goretzka, Gnabry and Sane and replace them (well, Coman is Ok) + get a quality 9. I actually think that someone like Dusan Vlahovic would work very well in Bayern.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Yes there was. From 2013-2018. Bayern in those days was miles ahead of any English team and PSG.

    9 - Robert Lewandowski

Gone are the days of the big three of Real, Barca and Bayern that lasted about a decade. Expect City, United (yep, read it correctly) and Liverpool to dominate for the next several years.

So many great takes during the last couple of pages. And I agree with every one of them. How on Earth would any sane football fan consider this fella to be the best in the world, aka Ballondor winner?? A finisher. Thats where it starts and ends with this guy. Had Mario Gomez scored in that 2012...
