I don't understand why people want him here... It was a decent gamble coming from Ajax, but he has failed to impress since he went to Juventus and his poor form doesn't seem like a rough patch but more of a permanent thing, add Raiola to the mix and you get a recipe for disaster...

While I agree it may seem weird to rest him, Copa Am?rica format is so dumb (ten teams, two 5 team groups and just one team from each group gets the boot) and the teams are so inconsistent and outright terrible, that unless Argentina finishes 4th in their group they have nothing to be concerned...
