    14 - Javier Mascherano

And still nobody claims Mathieu should replace him.

    14 - Javier Mascherano

It's his personality and attitude that's usually being questioned, not his skill set.

    14 - Javier Mascherano

Not as new as it may seem. Bringing up comparisons with players of similar positions is quite logical and happens very often on this forum.

    14 - Javier Mascherano

I do agree it was a big mistake but Pique did something similar just minutes before him and everybody forgot somehow. Is it because he's taller or something? But it's the same couple of dozen that post regularly. My post was to point out the quite opposite views of one player and how they can...

    14 - Javier Mascherano

I agree. Anyway Mashe does far more on the pitch than just tackling and it is the reason why Lucho rarely takes him off the pitch.

    14 - Javier Mascherano

When it was suggested that he should be sold and Bartra is a better CB choice than him. I think Mathieu's very patchy as a CB and I'm never that confident when he's playing cause we never know if this is his good day or his bad day.

    14 - Javier Mascherano

I dunno, I clearly remember him being totally roasted while on CB.

    14 - Javier Mascherano

A few weeks ago Mathieu was the worst CB that walked this earth, now he's better that Masche. My head is spinning.

    11 - Neymar Jr. - v4

There is also this theory that they went to Madrid to motivate Santos to pay more money and help out with endorsements, TV ads etc. that would eventually transform Neymar into a national star, and then in turn help out negotiating more money out of a future European club they'd go for.

El Clasico: Real Madrid - FC Barcelona 0-4

In the last 5 years whoever won el Clasico at Bernabeu did not win la Liga in the same season...

    11 - Neymar Jr. - v4

Neymar Sr is a manipulative shit and can get Junior to do whatever he wants. In Sr's words "Junior is on a motorbike and we are riding on his back" and guess who's got the handlebars? I don't trust a singe word out of his mouth.

And BOOM 3 points for Argentina. Maybe it's not that bad then...(and Masche survived without an injury)

    Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

I agree with you on this, however I see more motives to do things than that. The freedom and security that money brings. The need to test your limits. The feeling that you should be "doing something with your life" that your parents drilled in you since you were a toddler (I got that one too!)...

    Cristiano Ronaldo - v1

The way I see it is that if you don't aim high and are satisfied with a "simple life" (which I have nothing against) your bar is not set particularly high, so you have nothing to feel confident or not about. Like what can you fail at? Putting breakfast in your mouth? In my early 20s I lived a...
